Education United States Military Academy, West Point, NY - Bachelor of Science, 1966 Georgia Institute of Technology, Atlanta, GA - Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering, 1976 Auburn University, Montgomery, AL - Master of Business Administration, 1979 The Fazen Organization (1989-Present) As President, developed and managed commercial properties.  Representing owners, coordinated the site selection, financing, marketing, leasing, design, construction and operations of numerous properties.  Actively involved in the Renovation and Restoration of three Historic NYC prperties:  250 Park Avenue, 555 Broadway and 90 West Street.  As a result of the modernization of a 100-year old property and the marketing program that culminated in a 100% occupancy rate, we increased the appraised value of 555 Broadway from $14 million to $40 million in less than 3 years.  We negotiated the largest and third largest tenant leases in NYC in 1992.  At 555 Broadway, we coordinated $50 million of tenant and base building renovation including facade and roof repairs, window replacement, complete interior renovations and upgrades of mechanical, elevator and electrical systems.  At 90 West Street, we coordinated $20 million of tenant, base building and façade renovation. Colliers ABR, Inc. (1996) As Vice President and Director of Operations, responsible for management of a commercial real estate portfolio of 28 properties, over 14 million square feet of Class A property in the New York City area.  Developed and Supervised the Project Management Division responsible for major tenant renovations including tenant installations for The Beacon Group (399 Park), Monet (Empire State Bldg) and NationsBank (GM Bldg). John T. Godwin Associates (1988-1989) As Partner, served as an owner representative and construction consultant for the construction of the new corporate headquarters for Cunard Lines, Ltd.   We managed mixed-use properties in Manhattan and served as a property management consultant.  Our construction and property management clients included Chemical Bank, Citicorp, Cunard Lines, Ltd. and The College Board. Abrams Benisch Riker (1986-1988) As Division Manager, served as the owner representative in completing a $20 million upgrade of 250 Park Avenue, including electric service upgrade, complete window replacement, HVAC upgrade and facade renovation.  Coordinated the completion of the new corporate headquarters and the facilities operations for The Family Circle at 110 Fifth Avenue. U.S. Army (1966-1986) Retired as a Lieutenant Colonel after 20 years as an officer serving in construction, engineering, leadership and management positions.  Operations Officer at Fort Myer, VA, responsible for the design, development and execution of over $100 million of capital improvements annually.  Directed the planning, design and construction of commercial, recreational and residential properties.  Deputy Chief of Staff at Fort Dix, NJ, supervised an annual operating budget exceeding $500 million, overseeing the preparation of all RFP's and selection of contractors and vendors.
